Our Connect Calls service is based on a free 'softphone' (software dialler on your PC - see above) that is easily configured with your new account details.

When you sign up for a Connect Calls account, we ask you to open it with a small amount of credit for calling landlines. We will also open free accounts for up to three friends or family members anywhere in the world at the same time, to allow you to get started with free calls immediately. We only require names and e-mail addresses and we will send each of them an account and dialler by e-mail. (You will all still need to put credit on your accounts to 'phone any landline numbers). If you decide that you only want the PC-to-PC facility, we can refund you the amount you opened the account with, but this will limit you use of VOIP to only people with Family Sites accounts.
