If, however, you are calling a landline number from your PC, then you have to pay for the part of your call's 'journey' that travels down the landline network. Because this often amounts to a local call, you still pay much less than for landline to landline calls. Although we are not quite so competitive for calls within UK, we do cap the competition on national (01 and 02) numbers and calls to mobile 'phones from your PC - the types of call we probably make the most.
